     Sustainability for communities is not new for USA or other World countries.  See this link for plans and other communities having such sustainability plans.
     In October 2008,  the Joslyn Castle Institute of Omaha, Nebraska, with assistance from the Nebraska Environmental Trust, launches workshops to engage civic leaders in SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP  (in PDF) over a 3 year period.
     Should Gering, Scottsbluff and Terrytown adopt this Tri-City Sustainability Plan (TCSP), our communities may be the first in Nebraska with such a plan, and also be the first in the state with a cooperative plan covering multiple communities!  Congratulations to all the TCSP team members for this historic development!
     By January 2009, TCSP team members will be identified on this site as the true community leaders they were before and the importance each have become since this plan development.  Thanks to each and every one of you for your unselfish volunteerism that will promote a more sustainable future for our communities.
