Our Community Sustainability Mission:

“The mission of the Tri-Cities sustainability effort is to promote the healthy well-being of its citizens in a sustainable environment that brings economic benefits to the citizens and governmental entities, now and in the future.”

Approval of Minutes

After change to minutes as sent for next meeting date to be 7-7-09, motion made to approve June 16 minutes by B. Manasek, second by L.Danielzuk, motion passed.

New Business

Ø Presented media suggestions to the Gering Citizen, hopefully we will have follow up to include articles on monthly basis.

Ø Topics for this meeting include

ü Alternative Transportation

ü Water (Quality and Efficiency) 

Ø Guest from Gering Police and Water Departments.

Ø Public information remains key as a means of dissemination.

Ø Topic discussions will be placed in Inventory Towards Sustainability (ITS) documentation at end of TCSP development.  All information based upon draft documents, compilation reviewed at end of ITS gathering, posted on web for in depth review.
