Our Community Sustainability Mission:
“The mission of the Tri-Cities sustainability effort is to promote the healthy well-being of its citizens in a sustainable environment that brings economic benefits to the citizens and governmental entities, now and in the future.”
Approval of Minutes
Motion made to approve Sept 15 minutes by L.Morrison, second by L.Cooper, motion passed.
Old Business
Ø Topic discussions will be placed in Inventory Towards Sustainability (ITS) documentation at end of TCSP development. All information based upon draft documents, compilation reviewed at end of ITS gathering, posted on web for in depth review. Vision statement to be provided to be sent to members.
New Business
Ø L.Herbel brought in various publications, articles, references on bicycling, noxious weeds, average farmer age, and “take 5 for the environment” by Co Gov to city of Denver.
